Kollywood superstar is all set to host the Tamil version of Kaun Banega Crorpati. The program is likely to be aired from January, Pongal day.
It is heard that VIjay had been earlier roped in to host the hsow, but finally it is Suriya who will be playing host to one of the biggest and most popular TV shows in recent times. Amitabh Bachchan was the first host of KBC, which was launched in India in 2000. Shahrukh Khan hosted the third season of the show, before Amitabh returned to the hot seat for the fourth and fifth seasons! The 5th season of the show was recently concluded.
Suriya is currently shooting for K.V. Anand's Maatraan with Kajal Aggarwal. The film is reportedly shot in some never-seen-before locales across the globe.
